A Diary Not Written
This is an ode
about a diary not written.
So sad, it is, but true.
It could have been good -
or maybe much better.
Alas — if we only knew.
Those who feel worried
(or maybe just nervous?)
about writing a missive or two,
should take solace in knowing
there’s support if it’s needed
(because we’ve all been there, too).
If you couldn’t tell from my “cold opening”, we are looking for folks who’d like to try their hand at writing a Village morning thread. The topic is up to you. It would be for the Tuesday slot starting October 2nd (although we are flexible if you need more time). If you’re interested, please let us know via a comment here or a kosmail. If you’d like to try it out — take it for a test run — we can do that, too.

I don’t care what the animal is. If you help them? You’re my hero.
This story ties in nicely with yesterday’s diary by janesaunt on Chef Andrés and his World Central Kitchen.
What a great gift for this weekend: free admission (for two) to a museum.
This train travels as far as a diesel powered train but guess what it doesn’t do?
Great news for the LGBT community.
Taking care of those who need our help. Thank you, Mexico.
Love me a good rescue story.
